Beyond being an awesome way to organize your images online, Flickr is also gosh darn fun through its many hacks for other purposes. Here are some links to my favorites.
- RetrievR -- Draw something. Find Flickr pix to match. Not always on target but usually your results will pass the squint test.
- FindR -- Search FlickR by tags and find fun stuff.
- Spell with FlickR -- this one is pretty self explanatory, but for a visual explanation see the top of this post. (link via Specfuckingtacular)
Clicking is such a part of the user experience that I was surprised how much I would miss this simple action when I visited Don't Click It. This sometimes complex to navigate but extraordinarily fascinating Web site is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history of the click -- and folks who dig nifty usages of Flash. So make the click over to their site your last for a few minutes. You won't regret it.
Everybody looks forward to Fridays, and I'm no exception. But, my reason for looking forward to the weekend is a little different. Since I love my job, it's not "getting away from the office." Instead, for me it's all about Dover Publications' free samplers!
Dover -- the proprieter with the best royalty free art around -- sends an email every Friday with a secret link to twenty examples of medium-resolution, wonderful, downloadable artwork. To be a recipient of these messages, sign up at their Web site. Then, you too will have a new reason to get excited every Friday. Even if you're not keen on any of their weekly offerings, the emails are also a great resource for special links to Dover's latest sales and information on their newest titles.

Could there be a better way to test drive 400 Traditional Tile Designs in Full Color and Victorian Decorative Letters Clip Art or find new clip art books to add to your collection? If nothing else, you'll never be at a loss for inspiration and fun graphics for your homemade mix cds!
